QUESTION PAIN IN JAW	Patients and physicians often don't see the dagenr of a drug because they see limited information. The FDA sees most everything and can weigh benefit to risk. Even if a drug had no side effects in half the population and killed the other half, 50% of people would think the drug is fine. The old colchicine, pulled off the market last year is a great example. It killed hundreds of people because it was not regulated. The new colchicine formulation, FDA approved, actually removed toxic compounds found in the old versions. QUESTION DYSPHAGIA	I took Darvocet for 14 years to help with the pain of rheumatoid artiihtrs. Unlike EVERY OTHER prescription I have taken for my artiihtrs, I never had one side effect from Darvocet and never had to increase my dose. QUESTION INTERVERTEBRAL DISC DEGENERATION	Hi! I am hoping you can help us. Our litlte man, Barney, went down (IVDD) on June 1, 2012. I emailed you about Frankie the end of July, and mentioned him. Our vet has advised us to purchase a set of wheels for him. We had saved almost all the money for the chair, when our daughter (she is 18) called home from work (she works in a vet's office) one day to say that a lady had brought in an 8 month old dachshund that was extremely emaciated. The lady is a single mom with three children. We agreed to help pay for the test/surgery to help the litlte guy and keep him from being put down. The lady ended up giving the dog to us to foster until he is healthy enough to be adopted. One thing led to another and we have spent a litlte over $500 on this puppy. He is getting better now that they have removed a corn cob from his intestines! (Be careful what children feed your pets!) We are now trying to find our Barney a set of used wheels, but have been unsuccessful finding any. If possible, could you please let us know if anyone has any they want to sell? Schedule I is the illicit drugs like marijuana and cocaine. Schedule II is your morphone, percocet and oxycontins. Schedule III is your Vicodin, Tylenol 3 and so forth. Schedule IV is your Darvocet and Scheudle V is your over the counter cough medicines. Schedule I is the most addictive with Schedule V being the least addictive. Your drugs are both Schedule III's so they're midrange.If you have a codeine allergy you are more likely than not to be allergic to Tylenol 3 and Vicodin, but its rare.
