I was on Diltiazem until the afib was corrected by eletric cardioversion (about 2 months). 8 months later I developed a rabid heart beat, not afib and was prescribed 180mg of Diltiazem again. After about 3 weeks I went into afib. A blood test was done showing I had hypothyroidism. QUESTION CYSTITIS	I have been taking diltiazem 60mg modified release tablets since the beginning of September 2016 for labile hypertension. I started with cystitis within a week of starting them, have taken four different antibiotics and still feel that the urethra is inflamed and painful. QUESTION DYSPHAGIA	We live in England. My husband has been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. His breathing test is almost normal. He starts to cough as soon as he has a sip of fluid, hot or room temperature. He also coughs while eating.
