About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of AGGRENOX patients who developed HAEMODIALYSIS.

FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 13 individuals taking AGGRENOX reported HAEMODIALYSIS to the FDA. A total of 3940 AGGRENOX drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.

FDA Research Report

Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between AGGRENOX and HAEMODIALYSIS. In doing so, we compare AGGRENOX with other drugs that cause HAEMODIALYSIS, to help you evaluate whether or not AGGRENOX causes HAEMODIALYSIS. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of AGGRENOX, so you can see if HAEMODIALYSIS ranks among AGGRENOX's most well-known side effects.
Summary Statistics
Reports of AGGRENOX causing HAEMODIALYSIS: 13
Reports of any side effect of AGGRENOX : 3940
Percentage of AGGRENOX patients where HAEMODIALYSIS is a reported side effect: 0.3299%

FDA reports of any drug causing HAEMODIALYSIS : 7350
Average percentage for all medicated patients where HAEMODIALYSIS is reported as a complication: 0.0461%

QUESTION
NEUROPATHY
I am a 76 yr old female and take Aggrenox. Lately I have noticed numbness on the soles of both feet and above one knee to buttock and am trying to determine the cause. My doctor is guessing two pinched spinal nerves and has sent me to physical therapist. I've not noticed a change thus far and am trying to do my own sleuthing. Has anyone else had this reaction to the drug? 2014-11-21 20:22:34
QUESTION
MACULAR DEGENERATION
I've being taking aggrenox for a few years and although i'd recently was diagnosed with macular distrophy, i did not think aggrenox as a probable cause but on the other hand the Dr that diagnosed me told me that since there was no family history nor other facts like look at an eclipse directly etc he found no cause at so early age im 47, my question is, could be my problem a correlated cause of using this medicine, aggrenox? 2014-11-24 19:06:28
QUESTION
MACROGLOSSIA
I began taking Aggrenox Jan 2014. In approx June 2015 I was diagnosed with macroglossia - tongue swelling. Any chance it is caused by Aggrenox? I have been tested for allergies that was negative. Tongue is pushing on front teeth in sleep moving upper jaw significantly. Help! 2015-12-04 17:51:00
QUESTION
BURNING SENSATION
headackes and burning sensation over most of body. Can this be caused by taking Aggrenox? 2016-02-08 19:59:22
QUESTION
