About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of AZITHROMYCIN patients who developed ADRENALITIS.

FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 3 individuals taking AZITHROMYCIN reported ADRENALITIS to the FDA. A total of 8922 AZITHROMYCIN drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.

FDA Research Report

Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between AZITHROMYCIN and ADRENALITIS. In doing so, we compare AZITHROMYCIN with other drugs that cause ADRENALITIS, to help you evaluate whether or not AZITHROMYCIN causes ADRENALITIS. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of AZITHROMYCIN, so you can see if ADRENALITIS ranks among AZITHROMYCIN's most well-known side effects.
Summary Statistics
Reports of AZITHROMYCIN causing ADRENALITIS: 3
Reports of any side effect of AZITHROMYCIN : 8922
Percentage of AZITHROMYCIN patients where ADRENALITIS is a reported side effect: 0.0336%

FDA reports of any drug causing ADRENALITIS : 27
Average percentage for all medicated patients where ADRENALITIS is reported as a complication: 0.0002%

QUESTION
TENDONITIS
I have a history of bone issues (i was born with osteogenesis imperfecta) ive had over 50 broken bones. I also have osteo necrosis as well as tendinitis in several places. Ive had hip, knee, shoulder and wrist replacements over time. Im 55 now but was not diagnosed with any of this intill 35 years of age. I recently got pnemonia again for the several time and they put me on azithromycin. 3 days into my couse of antibiotics my tendonitius returned in a different place with a vengeance (i think its more painful than child birth). Id like to know if the tendinitis is due to the azithromycin or it was just my time to get it again? No one has ever told me the tendinitis can be fixed or even helped. I just have to wait it out and not want to move at all for a few weeks. Is there help for it? Is the antibiotics the culprit? I dont know how to check the answers on here please send to my email shadow11990@comcast.net. Im begging! I want to comit harry carry seriously! This is excruciatingly painful!!!! 2018-01-15 19:01:22
