About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of CORTISON patients who developed ADHESION.

FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 2 individuals taking CORTISON reported ADHESION to the FDA. A total of 195 CORTISON drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.

FDA Research Report

Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between CORTISON and ADHESION. In doing so, we compare CORTISON with other drugs that cause ADHESION, to help you evaluate whether or not CORTISON causes ADHESION. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of CORTISON, so you can see if ADHESION ranks among CORTISON's most well-known side effects.
Summary Statistics
Reports of CORTISON causing ADHESION: 2
Reports of any side effect of CORTISON : 195
Percentage of CORTISON patients where ADHESION is a reported side effect: 1.0256%

FDA reports of any drug causing ADHESION : 955
Average percentage for all medicated patients where ADHESION is reported as a complication: 0.0060%

QUESTION
ANGER
I had a bad head injury three years ago. I was never given an MRI and after fighting with my doctor I was able to see a pain specialist and got two (still waiting on the one of my head) back - small disk ruptured and neck has some with a slight kink in my spinal cord. got three injections which didn't really do much however I progressively got extremely angry. Worse than when I originally hit my head. It was relentless and I truly could have killed someone. I couldn't stand being around people - I was extremely hostile toward them. Also I had chronic pain from head to toe- being crippled july- august my feet and legs hurt so much with extreme fatigue. I am just now starting to feel release of anger and pain. I hardly left my house for two months the pain was excruciating. Has ANYONE had a reaction like this. I am still having test done to eliminate other things but after the injections escalated things ten fold. Was hoping someone else might have had something. All tests are negative so far. 2016-09-16 05:16:52
