QUESTION MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME	My mum took Fos for many years and her bone density kept getting worse. A year ago she stopped it and eversince there has been a remarkable improvement in bone density. However, sadly she has been diagnosed with MDS - which was the reason why she stopped taking the Fos. Weight bearing exercise and proper nutrition is key. Also hysterectomies are so wrecklessly recommended by doctors nowadays just to forge a path for the same doctors' future commissions promoting the damned biophosphonates. CONCERN GASTROOESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE	i took fosomax for about 6 weeks. During that time I had 2 episodes of severe projectile vomiting with huge amounts of acid. My throat felt like it was closing as well. Once I stopped the fosomax it took 5 months to clear gastro and esophageal symptoms but at present somewhat back to normal. QUESTION PANCREATITIS VIRAL	I have recently been diagnosed with pancreatitis. I went to the Emergency room thinking I was having a heart attack(jaw pain,severe shoulder pain and some left arm pain. I am 71 years old and after the doctor checked my blood work, etc. she said I wasn't having a heart attack and decided to run more blood work. I was then told my lipase and amylase levels were elevated. They thought I had alcohol issues, but I told them I have 1 drink a week when I go out to dinner on Friday nights with my girlfriends. They did an ultrasound endoscopy and I have an abundance of calcium deposits in the tail of my pancreas that has been there for quite awhile. The only thing I can think of is the fosamax plus D I took for 5 years and told my doctor that I heard women were breaking bones who were talking it. They are telling me they are not sure what caused it. At this point there are no ducts blocked or stones.
