QUESTION TESTIS CANCER	prescribed lipitor in 2003 in 2013 diagnosed with testicular cancer, surgeon didn't successfully seal blood vessels in my scrotum and leaked a quart of blood or more into scrotum, during 2nd surgery to correct it went into cardiac arrest and had an m.i. heart attack, spent 10 days in hospital where things went from weird to weirder , ended up on multiple drugs for heart problems and then they sent me to chemo and almost killed me again, my white blood cell count was below .1 -- 20 times lower than normal ? given transfusions and neupogen to raise blood counts, caused kidney damage , ct scans 2 of them they let a student shoot dye into the muscle in my arm , she missed the vein and they put ice packs on my arm, I now have red spots all over my upper extremities, tired of incompetent medical people , nurses come in to my isolation room with a cold, and take my box of cleanx. , picc line bandage change time no biopatch - within a week it gets infected, 30 days of antibiotics 20 days i v 10 by mouth , now a doc wants me to go get a colonoscopy , i don't trust any medical people ,never will ever again, went to a major med center for a heart cath stent procedure and dr singh wants me to stay for a bypass, less than 30 days after chemo, really ? and they give me a chemical stress test without my permission barnes jewish hospital, washington university crazy , side effects start within an hour and last for over a year, I'm allergic to the drug / chemical and told them as soon as they said we gave you a chemical stress test , these ignorant people , and then they send me a bill and expect payment, the medical establishment in the usa is so screwy they all need to be trained again and not push what the drug reps are pushing , these drugs cause cancer, als, death, etc.	2015-04-20 15:04:36

QUESTION WHEEZING	I was on a low dose, 10 mg. of Lipitor and had an episode of cardiac pain that kept me overnight in the cardiac care center in the hospital. When leaving my cardiologist increased my lipitor dose to 40mg. Even though my cholesterol levels were within the normal range. He said that with my family history I needed the higher therapeutic dose. Since I have started taking this dose I have begun wheezing so badly that I need a nebulizer to deliver albuterol to breathe. I have been having to use it 2 to 3 times a night and sometimes I'm still wheezing in the morning. Sleeping is out of the question. The only other medication I take at night and not any other time is prazosin and singular. As well as a multivitamin, Ferris gluconate, and a group of b vitamins. The wheezing is getting worse every night and I'm going to end up at the hospital because it's out of control at this point. Please help. I'm whistling and squeaking and rattleing so louderly when I breath I can't be in the bedroom because I keep my husband awake. The fight to breath every night is exhausting. CONCERN MYELITIS TRANSVERSE	I have been taking the generic Lipitor (Atorvastatin) for about 10 years. It has done a great job of reducing my cholesterol. However, this summer, I began to have numbness in my right leg and the symptoms of MS girdle or hug on my right side. After several MRI's and tests, the doctors discovered a lesion on my spinal cord. QUESTION MYELITIS TRANSVERSE	I have been taking the generic Lipitor (Atorvastatin) for about 10 years. It has done a great job of reducing my cholesterol. However, this summer, I began to have numbness in my right leg and the symptoms of MS girdle or hug on my right side. After several MRI's and tests, the doctors discovered a lesion on my spinal cord. The myelin was damaged. It corresponds to my symptoms. I was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. I have had no other injuries or issues. It is only getting worse. I now learn from an acquaintance that he has a brother in-law that has been on Lipitor and is going through the same thing. How can I learn more about the possible connection?	2016-11-29 19:57:28
