About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of POTASSIUM patients who developed ACHLORHYDRIA.

FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 2 individuals taking POTASSIUM reported ACHLORHYDRIA to the FDA. A total of 9762 POTASSIUM drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.

FDA Research Report

Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between POTASSIUM and ACHLORHYDRIA. In doing so, we compare POTASSIUM with other drugs that cause ACHLORHYDRIA, to help you evaluate whether or not POTASSIUM causes ACHLORHYDRIA. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of POTASSIUM, so you can see if ACHLORHYDRIA ranks among POTASSIUM's most well-known side effects.
Summary Statistics
Reports of POTASSIUM causing ACHLORHYDRIA: 2
Reports of any side effect of POTASSIUM : 9762
Percentage of POTASSIUM patients where ACHLORHYDRIA is a reported side effect: 0.0205%

FDA reports of any drug causing ACHLORHYDRIA : 27

BLOOD ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE INCREASED
I had my check up last saturday, it was a new thing for me, that accidentally it was included in my blood chem package the ALP. It shown that I had a high level of ALP. This was the first time i had test like this. Upon thinking, taking potassium citrate could have been the one responsible for my high ALP level. Coz recently, i have been taking this bec. i thought this could help avoid building any stone and help maintain my blood pressure. My cholesterol is a bit high. But maybe it was this potassium citrate who have caused my ALP to increase like that. borderline is 104, mine was 117.90. Now, my doctor asked me to have a liver ultrasound after 2 months. Kindly email me for your kind response, Thank you. 2017-03-07 11:38:09

CONCERN
ANXIETY
I have experienced anxiety nausea and tinnitus from potassium citrate today and three days before since I started using it. This resposne is due to heavy metals in your bodies. Citric acid speeds up Krebs cycle , potassium due to perfect carrier which citric acid is, could reach places where other forms of potassium cant go. In presence of potassium in that stagnate areas cell membranes are finally opened and every cell throw its waste out. Your liver and kidneys are overhelmed instantly because of perfect and fast absorption of citrate and act of pottasium on toxic cells. I am pretty heavy metal toxic with Mercury, alluminium , lead , Cadmium etc and I am doing chelation to remove metals from my body. Potassium citrate is a pwerful stuff and we are having a kickback response from moving too much metals too fast. Our kidneys and brain are especially sensitive so we are feeling anxiety insomnia , heart rate abnormalities etc. If you have a hard time with potassium citrate you shol suspect heavy metal poisoning whicg is very common in these days. I wish that help you all ! 2018-01-30 13:19:06
