Study of possible correlation between FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS and PREDNISONE TAB
Accompanying discussion about FactMed users Questions and Concerns
About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of PREDNISONE TAB patients who developed FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS.
FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 3 individuals taking PREDNISONE TAB reported FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS to the FDA. A total of 37145 PREDNISONE TAB drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.FDA Research Report
Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between PREDNISONE TAB and FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS. In doing so, we compare PREDNISONE TAB with other drugs that cause FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS, to help you evaluate whether or not PREDNISONE TAB causes FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of PREDNISONE TAB, so you can see if FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS ranks among PREDNISONE TAB's most well-known side effects.
Summary StatisticsReports of PREDNISONE TAB causing FUNGAL ENDOCARDITIS: 3

Could there be a correlation between the two? Also shortly after that I became very tired again, but this time I had started juicing while on prednisone, had to be taken to the hospital e.r. and was diagnosed with diabetes type 2. Could this be due to the prednisone? I can't find any information on what causes this other than possible leukemia. He was referred to a hemotologist/oncologist but the apt is not until the end of May. | 2016-04-25 22:09:42 |
