About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of REGLAN patients who developed ADRENALITIS.

FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 2 individuals taking REGLAN reported ADRENALITIS to the FDA. A total of 16716 REGLAN drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.

FDA Research Report

Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between REGLAN and ADRENALITIS. In doing so, we compare REGLAN with other drugs that cause ADRENALITIS, to help you evaluate whether or not REGLAN causes ADRENALITIS. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of REGLAN, so you can see if ADRENALITIS ranks among REGLAN's most well-known side effects.

NEUROPATHY PERIPHERAL
I was on Reglan for over 20 years and no one ever told me till I had an appointment with a Gastroenterologist and he said OMG stop taking that now. Stopping cold turkey ended up being a very bad idea. I got very sick from drug withdrawal and am still being treated for all the bad effects it left with me. My question is - shortly after I stopped I have been having horrible pain and weakness in my legs, especially up and down stairs, sitting to standing position and the pain wakes me at night. Could this be from long term Reglan use? 2015-06-12 17:04:07

CONCERN
HYPERSENSITIVITY
I had a reaction to Reglan after taking it for two years. It built up in my system and I was diagnosed with Reglan poisoning. I was also diagnosed with tardive dyskinesia, dystonia, akathasia, and dysphagia. I've studied children with autism and worked with them for 7 years before this occured and I have to say that I felt autistic. Everything was hypersensitive. I couldn't handle loud noises, conversations were hard to hold because according to others, I sounded like rainman. Everything was hypersensitive, my sense of smell was the worst. I.E. my wife had a rear view mirror air freshener that according to my wife wasn't very strong at all, but one whiff of it and the back of my throat would spasm and shut off the air to my nose because it smelled like strong smelling salts to me. It was crazy. Like my brain couldn't interpret what it was smelling, and like it was so overpowering that my brain didn't know what to do. It happened all the time with food and everything else. The same with touch and sleep and even watching TV. Eventually I began having seizures and got worse but they eventually get better with meds. The hypersensitive things did not. Lights were too bright, sounds were too loud, but it was like I couldn't process them. I also couldn't sleep. I was aware of everything...all...the...time. No med helped, in fact the doctor I had prescribed me medications that had the same side effects as reglan half the time. After 6 months, 3 and 3/4 in the hospital, I was given a feeding tube because I ended up getting dysautonomic gastroparesis as a side effect of the reglan. The hypersensitive effects caused me to have bronchial spasms and esophageal spasms that caused me to have difficulty breathing and swallowing as well leading to bronchitis and pnumonia. 2016-01-12 18:39:33
CONCERN
SLEEP WALKING
I have experienced sleepwalking while taking Reglan. I just found this page and want to review other medications that can cause sleepwalking. I would like to review and find out if Chantix and Nycenta are in that list. I have had a lot of allergic reactions to medications I have taken such as eyes swelling, breaking out with hives, sores inside my mouth. I was fortunate to finally get genetic testing done and found out I am a intermediate metabolizer. It would be interesting to see which CYP category these type of medications are metabolized by. 2016-04-27 04:46:39

CHEST PAIN
they may have unraveled seafoid but as the jpost article mentioned the ‘museum’ legislation ” passed on a preliminary reading, by 51 to 9 votes. “this is the meaning of the “week by week/small stages” legislation. it is frightening. that’s why i called it boiling the frog. burston has a tendency on occasion to imply the &##1p6;ho1eful&88227; in the most dreadful of circumstances, or perhaps that is just my interpretation. it doesn’t seem to me like the right is taking down the right, it just seems like they are strengthening their resolve byway or arguing and debate which is a distraction away from the very real draconian legislation they are passing. 2017-03-20 08:35:33
