Study of possible correlation between CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST and SIMVASTATIN
Accompanying discussion about FactMed users Questions and Concerns
About this FactMed analysis covering adverse side effect reports of SIMVASTATIN patients who developed CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST.
FactMed provides MD-approved analysis to help both patients, researchers, and physicians accurately assess the risk profile for more than 20,000 different pharmaceutical products. The below report offers compiled information from Food & Drug Administration and FactMed user submissions. Between January 2004 and October 2012, 301 individuals taking SIMVASTATIN reported CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST to the FDA. A total of 67253 SIMVASTATIN drug adverse event reaction reports were made with the FDA during this time period. Often the FDA only receives reports of the most critical and severe cases; these numbers may therefore underrepresent the complication rate of the medication.FDA Research Report
Introduction This page is designed to help you determine the relationship, if any, between SIMVASTATIN and CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST. In doing so, we compare SIMVASTATIN with other drugs that cause CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST, to help you evaluate whether or not SIMVASTATIN causes CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST. Likewise, this page shows the most highly-reported side effects of SIMVASTATIN, so you can see if CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST ranks among SIMVASTATIN's most well-known side effects.
Summary StatisticsReports of SIMVASTATIN causing CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST: 301
Reports of any side effect of SIMVASTATIN : 67253
Percentage of SIMVASTATIN patients where CARDIO-RESPIRATORY ARREST is a reported side effect: 0.4476%

The pain can only be described as a knife stuck in you at all times and when you move it's like they twist the knife. I am wondering if anybody else has this issue or problem ?
